At VersaTails, we’re proud pet parents, just like you. We believe every dog deserves a cozy place to rest, and every dog parent deserves peace of mind. That’s why we’ve created policies that are easy to understand.
State Law Compliance.
Insofar as this Returns, Refunds, & Warranty Policy contradicts any State laws applicable in your State of residence, the terms of such applicable State law shall prevail. Without derogation from the foregoing, residents of California may be entitled to additional protections under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.
Return Policy
Need to send it back? We get it. Here’s when you can:
We’ll gladly accept returns if:

Unused Products: The original box is unopened and unused within 30 days of delivery.

Defective Product: If you believe there is a manufacturing defect (and the bed is unused), please report to us within 7 days of delivery, while including photos.

Shipping Damage: if you believe the bed to have been damaged during shipping (and the bed is unused), please report to us within 7 days of delivery, while including photos.

Wrong Item: If you received a different item from that which was ordered, please report this to us within 7 days of delivery, while including photos.
Please note that if a delivery is made in separate parcels, the time frames provided above shall apply to each item individually based on its respective date of delivery.
We can't accept returns if:

Mattress unsealed.
For hygiene reasons, we’re not able to accept returns once the mattress has been opened or used. This helps us make sure every dog gets a fresh, never-used bed, just like you’d expect for yours. -
Tags are removed

Packaging is missing (unless we’ve given the OK)
-
It’s a Sale Item. Items marked as ‘Sale’, ‘Clearance’, ‘Final’ or on which a discount of 20 percent or more from the original price will be considered a sale item.

How to Return?

Contact us within the time periods specified above, by email to support@versatails.com.

We'll provide you a Return Authorization (RA) number

Pack the item in its original packaging with the RA number you received from us.
Shipping & Restocking:
-
Defects & Errors: If the return is due to a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs entirely.

Standard Returns: For returns due to personal preference (such as sizing changes or a change of heart), the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.

Beds returned without prior approval or not in their original packaging will incur a 20% restocking fee and will not be eligible for a refund. Return shipping costs will also be the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.
Third-Party Products: Items from other manufacturers offered on our site follow the same return timeframes, but may have different warranty terms (see product page).
Refund Policy
Trying something new for your dog should feel exciting, not stressful. That’s why we keep things friendly.
Once your return makes it back to us and passes inspection, here’s what happens:

You can get a full refund to your original payment method
We process all refunds and credits after confirming the return meets our guidelines.
Once approved, most refunds show up within 7–10 business days.
Warranty Policy
We take pride in the quality of every VersaTails bed and we’re confident your dog will enjoy it for years to come. Please note that the warranty provided below applies only to products manufactured by VersaTails, and the warranty terms for products offered by third party manufacturers on our site may vary.
That’s why we back our beds with a 1 Year no flatten warranty. To be clear, if State laws in your State of residence provide for a longer warranty period, such longer warranty period shall apply.
Here’s what we cover:

Mattress flattening beyond 2 inches with proper regular use

Foam that cracks, splits, or breaks down prematurely

Core manufacturing defects
And here’s what’s not covered:

Chewing, clawing, or digging damage
-
Moisture, mold damage or other environmental cause from accidents or improper care
-
Wear and tear on outer covers and bolsters
-
Damage caused by incorrect setup, storage, or laundering of foam (DO NOT GET THE MATRESS AND BOLSTERS WET)
How the warranty works:

We offer a one-time replacement per bed under warranty
-
The warranty applies to the original purchaser only
-
Valid for beds located in the continental U.S.
-
We will ask for photos or a return of the bed to evaluate the issue
-
If the issue is confirmed, we’ll send you a new mattress core, free of charge. However, if no defect is found, you'll be responsible for return shipping costs.
If the bed was purchased as a gift:

Gift recipients who return a bed under warranty will receive a VersaTails site credit or gift card equal to the original purchase value instead of a refund.
THIS WARRANTY DOESN'T LIMIT YOUR RIGHTS UNDER STATE WARRANTY LAWS.
Fair Use
We’re here to help as many dogs and pet parents as we can, which means we need to keep our policies fair and sustainable.
Here’s what that looks like:

We limit returns to 2 items per household in any 12-month period.

We track returns by name, address, and payment method

All returns require an RA (Return Authorization) to move forward
-
Excessive returns may result in account restrictions
-
We reserve the right to refuse returns that don't meet stated conditions
